Freelancing – How to Make Money With No Job

When I first started freelancing, I was sure that this was the easiest thing in the world. However, it turned out to be the hardest and most stressful job in the world.

You must have had one job before that you have enjoyed, but if you had multiple jobs you were bored. If you have two or more jobs, your motivation has dropped. What I mean is that having two or more jobs made me do nothing else other than to sit and wait for another job to start.

So you decide to do some freelance work, work on some personal projects, and finally, start a freelancing business. Your motivation returns and you want to go right back to your previous jobs.

Before you can start doing this, you must realize that not everything needs to be the next big thing. Some things are just not important enough. You don’t need a big company with a lot of money, a great company image, amazing tools and applications, great communication, and a great design company to make money.

The first thing you need to do when you start freelancing is to figure out what you will not do when you start freelancing. For example, if you are writing articles, you can not freelance to a magazine, an Ezine, or even online. Those would not be your primary activities.

Once you have figured out the first activities, you can start working on other activities. There are several things that you can get paid for that are not really your favorite jobs. These can include graphics and photography, web design, writing for magazines, newsletter and press releases, video work, social media management, and so on.

It is the most essential part of your job to find the ones that are not too much your favorite and don’t take uptoo much time. Even if the rates are low, you may not want to go for these. The best thing to do is to pay close attention to the activities that you want to do and start freelancing from them.

Follow up regularly. This will help you as well as your clients when it comes to payment.

Take your own time. Don’t jump into all the activities that are assigned to you. Be sure that you have time for all the tasks you need to do.

To summarize, your income depends on the things that you do with your extra time. Of course, as I mentioned earlier, there are those things that you must avoid, but it is not that easy.

Once you know the right activities for your freelancing job, you will feel more comfortable and your projects will improve. When you enjoy your freelancing work, you will not be happy unless you start working on the things that you like and enjoy doing.
